Bishop Nikolaj Velimirovic Statue

Saint Nikolaj Velimirovic, Bishop of Zica, respected academic, and the author of many Orthodox books, devoted his life to Orthodox Christianity. He suffered greatly during World War II while fulfilling his mission, and was instrumental in organizing the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of North America.  He is often referred to as "Serbia's New Chrysostom

The late President of the Church, Milivoj (Micho) Stefanovic was the driving force for the establishment of the statue of Bishop Nikolaj Velimirovic. He supervised the production and construction of the monument, which was funded by members of the church and Serbs from the Bay Area.  The bust itself was funded by Micho Stefanovic.
